Scam Hunter is maintained by me (shane). While the bot is not very expensive to run, the costs are not 0. Any donations to keep the bot running are appreciated!
Transparency
Scam Hunter is built to protect communities from account takeovers, malicious redirects, and spam campaigns without the need to pay for it. I do not intend to charge for this bot, as I do not believe a bot like this should be used to make money. That said, there are costs associated with running it. Donations toward the bot infrastructure help!
You are free to use my public instance of the bot or run your own copy of the bot.
Whether you choose to use the bot without supporing it financially, make a one time donation, or pick a membership tier on ko-fi, I plan to keep running the bot anyway. Donations have no influence on features. That said, if you do have ideas for the bot, please suggest them in the support server!
